The Taco Shop first opened its doors in 2008 as an extension of Quahog’s Seafood Shack. Serving authentic Mexican-style takeout, the Taco Shop was one of Stone Harbor’s best kept secrets. Nine years later, Chef Lucas Manteca and the Bread + Butter team have partnered up with Maria Fox of Pickle Girl Pickles to introduce a new approach to fast food. As with Manteca’s other Bread + Butter projects, the Taco Shop Taquería strives to provide healthy, fresh, and local food without sacrificing authenticity and speedy service. With a new location coming to the Cape May Airport in 2017, this only marks the beginning of Bread + Butter’s “healthy-and-fast food” vision for Cape May County.
